In a new Happy Meal O’ Clock livestream today, May 11 at 5-6PM, McDonald’s will feature the Just Dance Happy Meal collection to help unleash and strengthen kids’ passion for music and dance. To be hosted by radio personality and mom DJ Chacha, the livestream will include discussions about “Integrating Physical and Digital Play for More Fun.” Dancer AC Bonifacio will also join the livestream to demonstrate how the newest Just Dance Happy Meal collection can empower physical and digital play integration for more fun play time for kids.

McDonald’s turns its party areas into night time study halls for students 

McDonald's recognizes the importance of education and the challenges students face in finding a safe and conducive learning environment for after-school work. With this in mind, McDonald's continues to provide a solution that caters to their needs. 

In 2020, over 200 McDonald’s Party Areas were turned into McDonald’s Classrooms that catered to teachers’ need for a safe, work-friendly place to conduct their online classes. Coming from the success and impact of the McDonald’s Classroom in the past years, McDonald’s elevates the program to better utilize its party areas and maximize the use of it during the night time. Last March 28, 2023, McDonald's Night Classroom in 60 participating McDonald’s stores near key universities opened their doors to students to cater to their late night study sessions from 8 PM to 6 AM daily.

This year’s theme of the Happy Meal Readers Books tackles inspiration that encourages to ignite kids’ passion points

As kids grow older, they start finding more ways to channel their passions. But that doesn’t mean they have to outgrow the things they love, like the McDonald’s Happy Meal. This March, McDonald’s brings back the Happy Meal Readers Program that allows parents and kids to choose between a toy or a book for every Happy Meal purchase.

The Happy Meal Readers Program showcases the I Can book series which aims to inspire little ones to hone their passion. The  book series is based on real-life stories of inspirational figures—individuals who achieved incredible things, broke down barriers, and beat all the odds that shall lead kids to think, “If they did it, then I can too.”
