Celebrate Filipino Cuisine at The Lobby on Philippine Independence Weekend and Join the #DAMAKOLAHI Movement

On June 12 and 13, Philippine Independence Weekend, The Lobby of The Peninsula Manila joins the #DamaKoLahiKo movement in celebrating the Filipino palate when it invites Lobby patrons to go on a gastronomic tour of the Philippines when they order from the Native Pride Menu.

The Lobby’s Native Pride Menu with is signature dishes like Pancit Luglug, Beef Short Ribs Kare-Kare, Bistek Tagalog, and Chicken & Pork Adobo are but a reflection of the varied flavors and influences that characterize the Filipino’s vibrant and colorful palate.

Every order from The Lobby’s Native Pride Menu will be accompanied by a complimentary samalamig (refresher) of Sago’t Gulaman (a sweet beverage made from muscovado sugar, tapioca pearls, and gelatin).

On the weekend of June 12 and 13, all Lobby patrons will be encouraged to use the hashtags #DamaKoLahiKo and #PanlasaKoLahiKo to describe the scents and flavors of their orders from the Native Pride Menu.

Share Filipino pride!
