Start the day with a special beans sourced from the highlands of Northern Philippines, the Cordillera Sunrise. The Arabica typical beans are grown in the first-class municipality of Tuba which is located in the southwest region of Benguet Province. As a treasured heritage, locals have been farming these beans using traditional methods and sustainable means. Grown 1,600 meters above sea level, the Arabica trees are nurtured by the cool mountain air and are allowed to flourish under the shade of pine trees. This sought-after coffee offers a feast for the senses, with its full-bodied flavour and mild floral aroma.

42 Talented Young Chefs from 17 Countries and Regions to Converge upon Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge 2018 to Vie for International Championship


Celebrity Chefs from Gourmet Variety Shows, Executive Chefs from Renowned Chinese Restaurants and Michelin-starred Chefs to Showcase Best Culinary Skills

Organised by Lee Kum Kee and steered by the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry, the Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge 2018 (LKKIYCCCC 2018) will be held at the Chinese Culinary Institute on 19 and 20 September 2018. 42 aspiring young chefs from 17 countries and regions worldwide shortlisted from the rigorous preliminary rounds of the contest and selection process, including celebrity chefs from gourmet variety shows, executive chefs from renowned Chinese restaurants or the chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants, will converge under one roof to vie for the International championship. 

Starbucks Philippines Coffee Ambassador, Steaven Bueno to compete in Asia Pacific Regional Championships


When Steaven Bueno witnessed the first ever Starbucks Philippines Barista Championships a year ago, he had hoped someday to step on the same stage and share his love for coffee. Now, the young barista is the reigning Starbucks Philippines Coffee Ambassador and is set to compete in the 2018 Starbucks Asia Pacific Regional Barista Championships in Vietnam. 

“It’s so far the best feeling I’ve ever felt,” Steaven shared when asked about the emotions he felt at that moment. “I’m overwhelmed but I’m very excited to represent Starbucks Philippines. And I had no idea I was going to end up here in my coffee journey.”
