Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila, one of the country’s leading hotels received its fifth consecutive Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award, and is showcased with other honorees on ForbesTravelGuide.com.

The Peninsula Manila achieves World's Best Hotel Bars Accolade from Forbes Travel Guide

Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”), the world-renowned and only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, today unveiled its Verified List for 2019’s World’s Best Hotel Bars, naming The Bar at The Peninsula Manila as one of only 45 bars around the world to earn the accolade.  

This comes on the heels of the Forbes Five-Star Awards announcement in February 2019, in which The Peninsula achieved Forbes Five-Star status across all ten of its hotels, resulting in The Peninsula Hotels being the first and only hotel brand to achieve the highest possible FTG rating for all its hotels.

In celebration of its third consecutive Five-Star Award, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila recently welcomed Forbes Travel Guide Chief Executive Officer Filip Boyen, together with Vice President for External Services Peter Kressaty, and Vice President for Asia Pacific Ryo Koike, last 9 March 2019. Forbes Travel Guide Awards Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila General Manager, Frank Reichenbach, received the hotel’s Five-Star award from Forbes Travel Guide, the global authority on luxury travel since 1958, in The Pierre, New York.

With over 1, 468 winners in 42 countries across the globe, 22 of these are newly rated as Five-Star hotels. It is the first time that a property from Manila has made it to the list.
