The best steaks this side of the metro - A Steakhouse at Acacia Hotel

A Steakhouse - A meaty encounter
at the south of the metro
Cream of Wild Mushroom (P220)

It was a glorious sunny day, when we trekked to the south of the metro, this special weekend belongs to our dear friend, and the sister I never had, Ms. Jane Go of

I just love butter and soft bread from A steakhouse!  Yes that stash of bread is all mine.. haha

Acacia's French Onion Soup (P180)

I was pleasantly surprised with A Steak's version of the French Onion Soup, made with homemade beef broth with caramelized onions, melted gruyere and crisp golden croutons, each sip of the rich soup made it all the more appealing with every other sip, and before you know I finished it all up! It's definitely my cup of soup!

USDA Prime Grilled Ribeye Steak
(P1,650 for 240g)

Wifey ordered their USDA Prime Grilled Ribeye Steak, she requested for it to be cooked well-done, but delightfully it was still soft and easy to slice.  Just shows how fresh the quality of the Ribeye steak being served to us by A Steakhouse.

A Steakhouse's USDA Prime Grilled Lamb Chops (P950 for 200g)

Nothing completes the A Steakhouse experience with lamb chops!  For our friends who don't eat beef, there is always an option to order their USDA Prime Grilled Lamb Chops!

These specials all come with your choice of Demi Glace, Red Wine, Mint Jelly, Wild Mushroom, Bernaise, Peppercorn and Horseradish cream sauces.  Dig into trimmings with choices of Parmesan and Truffled Fried Potatos, Green Asparagus, Grilled Zucchini and Carrots, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Corn on the Cob, Baked Potato with sour cream, Mashed Potato or Rice Pilaf.

What makes A Steakhouse exceptional is their unwavering and unrelenting customer service excellence which made our dining experience all the more engaging.  So when you do pass by this side of the metro, do give A Steakhouse a visit, you'd surely be more than delighted.
