Hotel Jen Manila extends Jen-Why Art Exhibit viewing featuring Reen Barrera and Zorrick Enriquez

Hotel Jen Manila is extending the viewing of “Seascapes”, the first in a series of exhibitions featuring young local artists at Windows by the Bay. This series is part of the Hotel Jen brand’s new “Jen-Why Art” campaign, which throws the spotlight on emerging artists in each destination where Hotel Jen is present through interactive sessions where guests can unleash their creativity.

“Seascapes” offers a mesmerizing journey of the seas portrayed by visual artists Reen Barrera and Zorrick Enriquez. The exhibit is set to run for another month until July 31, 2017.

As a global brand, Hotel Jen now focuses on giving its guests “Destination-centric” experiential programmes. “Reen and Zorrick are what Jen-Why Art is all about. We want to introduce the works of Manila’s emerging young artists to our guests,” said Edward Kollmer, general manager of Hotel Jen Manila. “Manila is already an art destination in itself; this is why we are launching Jen-Why Art at Windows by the Bay. With this, guests can view the works of art, while enjoying the magnificent view of the bay area in this chill-out lounge,” adds Kollmer.

Jen-Why Art follows the launch of the Hotel Jen brand’s first experiential programme, Night Light which encourages after-hours exploration earlier this year. These programmes are designed to inspire curious travellers to leave boring behind through unconventional perspectives and to discover new experiences that are off the beaten tourist trail.

Other “Jen-Why Art” activities that are being rolled out at Hotel Jen properties around the world include a collaboration with a speed painter in Penang, an art festival in Malé in partnership with the Maldives Artist Community, and handicraft lessons that put a creative spin on wool and flowers in Shenyang.

Hotel Jen Manila is located along Roxas Boulevard with a direct and easy access to the newly constructed NAIA Expressway. The international and domestic airports are just 20 minutes away from the hotel, and the Makati business district is only 30 minutes away.

Hotel Jen Manila is also adjacent to the country’s premier conference and exhibition facilities – the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Philippine International Convention Center, World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center and 10 minutes away from the SM Mall of Asia. Malate, the entertainment district of Manila City, is within walking distance from the hotel. For more information, please call (02) 795-8888 or (0917) 806-2017.
