Romance Meets Bespoke Dining Experience at City of Dreams Manila's Signature Restaurants

Wok-fried Tiger Prawn in creamy butter lemon sauce and Pan-seared A5 Wagyu Steak in chef's special sauce

The irresistible allure of bespoke menus beckons at City of Dreams Manila’s signature restaurants, which are presenting Heart’s Day-inspired culinary offerings this Valentine’s weekend.

Crystal Dragon

The integrated resort’s restaurant specializing in Cantonese and regional Chinese specialties entices couples with a five-course menu at P5,500++ per person, available for lunch and dinner on February 13 and 14.  Enjoyed in a refined setting, the menu for minimum two persons, starts with: Deep-fried Crispy Stuffed Scallop with prawn mousse and golden creamy pumpkin sauce, and Poached Fish Maw in Spicy Pickled Tomato Broth with cod fish; followed by Wok-fried Tiger Prawns in creamy butter lemon sauce and Pan-seared A5 Wagyu Steak in Chef’s special sauce; and Wok-fried Aromatic Gravy and Crispy Dried Scallop. For a sweet ending, diners will be served a Chilled Osmanthus Sweetened Pear Soup with bird ‘s nest together with a Black Fairy Swan Puff.

Crystal Dragon is open from 12 noon to 11 pm daily.

City of Dreams Manila's Chefs Bag 22 Medals at the 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup

The culinary skills of City of Dreams Manila’s chef-delegates to the 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup shone bright at the competition, with the 17-man team bagging a total of 22 medals at the four-day competition during the World Food Expo held at the SMX Convention Center.  

“We commend the prestigious achievements of our culinary team at the 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup. These medals attest to the exemplary skills and versatility of our chefs, whose expertise and talents make the difference in the diverse cuisines offered in our outlets and banquets. They are pivotal in making our property a sought-after dining destination by our customers and are well-loved in the workplace where they also offer a well-planned 24/7 buffet in the colleagues dining room,” Property President Geoff Andres said.

City of Dreams Manila culminates 2022 and rings in the New Year with a countdown revelry at CenterPlay and media noche festive menus at its premium restaurants – Nobu Manila, Haliya and Crystal Dragon.

Nobu Manila’s New Year Omakase

On December 31  and  January 1, Nobu Manila’s New Year six-course dinner tasting menu at P5,600++ per person, includes: a complimentary Zensai; Nobu Assorted Canapes consisting of Shima Aji (striped jack mackerel) with Amazu Basil, Oyster with Maui Onion Salsa, Wagyu Taco, and grilled vegetable spicy Miso on  prawn chip; Nobu-style Assorted Sushi: Seared Engawa (flounder fin) with Dried Miso, Ama Ebi, Salmon Karashi Su Miso (tart miso mustard sauce) and Tamago; Sashimi Salad of Lapu-lapu with cilantro dressing, mixed field greens and Matsuhisa dressing; Surf and Turf Truffle Duo of Lobster and Shitake Dumpling with Truffle Kuzu Dashi, and Sous Vide Beef Tenderloin, Truffle SMR (soy-mirin reduction) and smoked cauliflower purée; Clear soup with Inaniwa noodles, mixed mushrooms and Asari clams; and Blueberry Stone Tart with Matcha Lime financier dough, Anana ginger insert and Chocolate Almond Crumble.

Delightful Season Menus this July at City of Dreams Manila


City of Dreams Manila highlights tempting New-Style Japanese, Filipino, and Southeast Asian seasonal menus to indulge in beginning this July.

Nobu Manila

The restaurant’s seasonal menu lets diners delve deeper into the signature Nobu-style experience popularized by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa that is well loved by A-list international celebrities, with an expertly curated eight-course Japanese-Peruvian menu. Preceded by the customary zensai (chef’s choice of appetizer), the first course of Crispy Salmon with teriyaki aioli is followed by an assortment of sushi. The tasting menu continues with Ama Abi (sweet shrimp) and Engawa (fluke fin)  with cucumber, red onions, tomato salsa, spicy yuzu dressing and soy salt; Hokkigai (surf clam) Salad Roll with carrot Karashi Su Miso (KSM – tart miso mustard sauce) dressing, honey lemon and fried shitake mushroom; Pan-seared Seabass with edamame miso puree and confit vegetables; Australian Lamb Chop with rosemary miso, roasted seasonal vegetables and potato korokke (croquette); and Asari Clam Soup with wakame (seaweed), carrots, enoki mushroom, sansho pepper and layu oil (Japanese chili oil). Sesame Panna Cotta with maple toffee crisps, mango passion fruit sorbet, and green tea crumble provides a sweet conclusion to the meal.
