The Peninsula Manila Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony happens this November 8, 2019

Making plans for the holiday season? Mark November 8, 2019 on your calendar when the festive spirit sweeps into The Peninsula Manila and the children from Make-A-Wish Foundation Philippines light up The Lobby’s 45-foot tall Christmas Tree, and the musicians from the Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra strike up their instruments to play holiday music, heralding the start of Christmas.

For over four decades, the Christmas Tree at The Peninsula Manila lobby and the holiday decorations adorning and surrounding The Lobby have stood as a holiday beacon for Manila and visitors alike. From children marveling at the gigantic tree festooned with thousands of lights, Santa welcoming guests in his red velvet suit, Christmas wreaths and velvet bows hanging from the bannisters, the smell of cookies wafting in the air, and families enjoying festive Afternoon Tea, The Peninsula Manila becomes a holiday greeting card come to life.

The tree lighting ceremony starts at 5:30 pm on November 8, 2019 and is free and open to the public.
The Lobby’s Christmas Tree will remain lit and on display from November 8 until December 26, 2019.
