Ivy Violan in Then and Now at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila


A homecoming concert with Ivy Violan

Experience a night full of love and music as Philippine’s Music Festival Queen, Ivy Violan, comes home and delights us with performances in the sky.

With almost 37 years in the music industry, Ivy Violan is finally coming back from spending 4 years in the US to gain her citizenship. She was two and a half years old when she started singing, and at the age of 4 formulated a band called Ivy and the Velboys, with her siblings. Her career even flourish in the 70’s, leading the band Royal Flush Music Society and Sangkatutak. 

Through the course of her long career in the industry, she has won awards from different children’s singing contest to music festivals, including the 4th International Midnight Sun Song Festival, the ABU-Golden Kite World Song Festival, and the Asia Pacific Singing Contest in 1988, held in Hong Kong. With these prestigious awards, she gained the title Philippine’s Music Festival Queen. After moving to the US, she has been doing sold out shows in Los Angeles, Canada, San Francisco, and other part of the US.


On February 10 and 17, Ivy Violan will be serenading the guests as she performs for her homecoming concert at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge. Featuring jazz singer Richard Merk, the show will be directed by Joey Nombres with Rick Ramos as sound engineer and Mon Faustino as musical director. Cover charge is Php 2,000 per person, which includes one welcome drink.
