Welcome 2019 with a Grand New Year's Eve Countdown Celebration at City of Dreams Manila


Great food, live music, and thrilling prizes to welcome the year ahead

City of Dreams Manila ushers in a sparkling 2019 with a grand New Year’s Eve countdown celebration at two of its thrilling entertainment venues – The Garage and CenterPlay.
With free flowing drinks, great food, exhilarating activities and exciting hourly draws, the New Year’s Eve festivities highlight riveting live performances from City of Dreams Manila’s best talents including The Garage GTV Unplugged band Ice Bucket and CenterPlay’s most sought-after bands:  Silk, Higher Ground, and Moranos.


An all-male band, Ice Bucket is known for singing classic rock from the 70’s to the present. Performing from 10 PM to 1 PM at The Garage, the band is set to showcase the true spirit of Rock n’ Roll in celebration of the new year ahead.
Families and friends can enjoy Ice Bucket’s live band performance while they savor a wide selection of food and drinks from the 10 food trucks and trailers: Juiced, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, Pink's Hotdog, Little Flour, Farmacy, Katsu Sora, El Chupacabra, Pizza Grigliata, Chocol8, and The Roaster. For a more memorable revelry, guests can also have fun and challenge each other at the VR Zone activities Mario Kart Arcade GP, Ski Rodeo and Hospital Escape Terror.  

Revelers at The Garage can also opt to avail of the special New Year’s Eve promo that includes crudités platter of taro chips, mixed nuts, vegetable crudités and assorted dips that comes with free flowing red, white, and sparkling house wines and draft beers at Php 1, 500 nett per person. Guests below 18 years old can relish a platter of mini Angus beef burger with cheddar cheese and fries together with free-flowing chilled juices, signature iced tea and sodas at Php 600 nett. Promo package includes a wrist band and New Year’s Eve Countdown party favors.  

Guests at CenterPlay can delight in a superb line-up of local performers for the countdown event, and at the same time avail of party packages with food and beverage. 


Silk, a trio known for bringing in a new feel and vibe to well-loved songs from the 70’s to the current ones in diverse genres from R&B, House Music to the best of OPM, opens CenterPlay’s grand New Year’s celebration at 6 PM and 8 PM. Set to regale the crowd with a wide range of repertoire, Higher Ground follows with performances at 7 PM and 9 PM. 

Punctuated with hourly draws from 9 PM to 12 midnight, the celebration continues at CenterPlay. 


The seven-member Moranos band will bring the house down at CenterPlay at 10 PM and the popular band with unique rock and roll flair Part 3 will continue to enliven the celebration as 2018 nearly draws to a close at 11 PM. At 11:45 PM, Silk, Higher Ground, and Moranos will return on stage and perform together to welcome the year in a music-filled countdown. The fete continues with performances from Moranos and Part 3 at 12:40 AM and 1:50 AM, respectively.

The Garage VR Zone and food park is located at the upper ground, across DreamPlay and regularly features GTV Unplugged with a roster of young and talented local artists on weekends. CenterPlay at the heart of the main gaming area showcases nightly live band performances of some of the country’s most sought after bands.  

There is no minimum or cover charge for the New Year’s Eve Countdown party at The Garage. Party packages at CenterPlay include a glass of Moet Chandon Brut and food and beverage consumables starting at Php 2,000 nett per person.
