Cocktail Making Class for Couples
From February 17 to 19, couples looking for a quick escape while doing a fun activity together can book a stay in either a Deluxe or Residence Club Deluxe Rooms, as well as take part in a fun cocktail making activity, where they can learn how to make either a Classic Mojito, Whiskey Sour or an Old Fashioned. This class comes with some fun burger bites at Bar Rouge and will take place on February 18 from 3 to 6PM. As an added treat, a special welcome amenity in the form of a decadent heart-shaped Love cake awaits them in their room upon check-in. Packages start at PHP7,500++.
Decadent Dinners for Two
Share an intimate meal at Jasmine, with specially curated set menus that’ll warm your hearts and fill your tummies. From February 10 to 14 and for PHP2,388nett per person, enjoy a feast that comes with a Suckling pig barbecued combination, Sweet corn cream soup with crabmeat, Steamed garoupa fillet with Chinese ham and vegetables, Pan-fried tiger prawn with cheese and Chinese bao, Wok-fried chicken fillet in black pepper sauce, Seafood fried rice with black olives, and finished off with Chilled honeydew, mixed fruits, and Chinese egg tart. Meanwhile, Set Menu II will have couples starting off their date with a Cold prawn salad, followed by Braised seafood soup with conpoy and bean curd broth, Braised baby abalone and Chinese mushroom, Steamed garoupa fillet with bean curd, shredded pork, scallion, and ginger in soya sauce, Wok-fried beef tenderloin with broccoli in X.O chili sauce, then some Seafood fried rice with crispy conpoy, before ending on a sweet note with Chilled honeydew, mixed fruits, and Chinese egg tart for PHP3,088 nett per person. For an additional PHP688 nett, guests may enjoy free flowing drinks which include red, white, and sparkling wine.
Indulge in a smorgasbord of gastronomic treats amid a romantic candlelit setting when you dine at Cafe 1228 on the Day of Hearts. For PHP3,000 nett per person, groups dining on the 14th will be serenaded while they dine on special buffet offerings which include pink risotto in a parmesan wheel, cochinillo, rib eye steak, baked salmon, and a wide array of desserts for that perfect sweet ending. Ladies get a glass of sparkling wine, along with the hotel’s signature cake for the season, a heart-shaped chocolate cranberry cake.
Valentine’s Afternoon Tea
From February 10 to 19, The Lounge’s Sakura Afternoon tea set highlights an array of Japanese-themed items, combining sweet and savory selections. These consist of Cherry chocolate nori, Red bean white chocolate praline, Yuzu macaron, Japanese cheesecake, Nougatine bites, Sakura roll cake, Strawberry and matcha parfait, Matcha tea soft roll with wasabi mayo and marinated salmon, Chicken mousse teriyaki canape, Mini club sandwich with cucumber, tuna, nori and ginger, and Shimeji with ikura, cream cheese and potato chips. Paired with Japanese sencha tea herbal infusion, or freshly brewed coffee, the set is good for two persons at PHP1,800 nett.
Optional add-ons include Hakushika ginjo namachozo, Gekkekan nigori sake, hot chocolate, or signature cocktails Gin Basil Strawberry Smash and Cherry Aviation for an additional cost starting at PHP150.
On Valentine’s Day, the set will come with 2 glasses of sparkling wine priced at PHP2,000 nett. To set the mood even more, a pianist will serenade couples between 2PM to 6PM with sets of 45 minutes each.
Bring Home the Love
You can also bring home some love this Valentine season. The Shop offers its signature cake for the season: the Love Cake, a decadent heart shaped chocolate cranberry confection that looks just as good as it tastes.
