Make Back-To-School More Exciting with Honeybon’s Goodies

Give your family the perfect baon for school or even the office!

With more workers going back to the office and kids heading back to school with the return of face-to-face classes, the baon dilemma is back: How do you give your kids a delicious snack without spending hours in the kitchen?

Honeybon, the commercial baking arm of Tokyo Bubble Tea, doesn’t just offer light yet decadent, award-winning cakes. They also offer sweet and savory Goodies that are perfect for packed snacks for the school or even the office.

SWEET GOODIES

Honeybon’s Goodies are perfect for dessert, merienda, or as a sweet pick-me-up any time of the day. Each variant comes in boxes of 6’s or 12’s, making it ideal to stock in the fridge, ready for any snack emergency. As long as it's stored properly, it should last the entire week — if you don’t finish it all in one sitting.

Honeybon’s Brownies are classic. The fudgey base is rich in chocolate and topped with cashews for added texture and nutty flavor.

Their signature O Fudge Bars give you the best of both worlds: an oatmeal cookie dough crust with a gooey and silky chocolate swirl.

The sweet and tangy Lemon Squares is a nice change of pace from chocolate goodies. It has a buttery shortbread crust topped with a thick and smooth layer of lemon curd filling and a sprinkling of powdered sugar to cut through the tartness of the lemon.

Honeybon gave the timeless Crinkles a slight twist by using dark chocolate to give it a depth of flavor but with the same fudgey goodness we know and love.

Lastly, their crisp and light Sylvanas should not be missed. It has layers of delicate and ever-so-slightly chewy meringue wafers with buttercream in between, then it’s coated with vanilla crumbs. It’s perfect with coffee or tea and makes for a great gift, too.

SAVORY GOODIES

While Honeybon has made a name for itself with their sweet confections, they also make topnotch empanadas with a generously filled yet crispy shell. It comes in 6’s, so it’s perfect for sharing or keeping in the fridge for a quick snack or baon idea.

The Chicken Empanada is a handy reincarnation of the chicken pot pie. The empanada is filled with shredded chicken breast in a creamy sauce with carrots and potatoes.

Reminiscent of the iconic Menudo, their Beef Tomato Empanada uses top-of-the-line beef tenderloin braised in tomato sauce with peas, raisins, carrots. The beef is cooked until tender and shredded so it soaks up all the flavors of the sauce.

Lastly, for those who are looking for something light that packs a punchy kick, the Spicy Tuna Empanada features flakes of spicy tuna laced with some green chilis.
