Fuego Mexican Steakhouse y Tequila lounge

fuego8

Fuego, is not your typical restaurant bar lounge, it serves up insanely delicious Mexican delicacies, fine tasting creations and spices up with a kick of alchohol with their tequila mixes and concoctions.

Take a sip of Aqua Fresca, as shown above is like fresh melon juice but lighter in taste, very refreshing after a day's work.

It was my first time to have a taste of Fuego, actually I have known of Fuego as a lounge serving up late night guests and partying to the wee hours of the morning.  Was I surprised that they actually have a dinner menus, which featured Mexican-inspired dishes with a whole lot of flavor.

Our appetizer, Key Lime Ceviche, citrus marinated red snapper and tuna loin, with flavorful spices to match, is somewhat like our "Kinilaw", but the firm and tender red snapper and tuna loin cuts made it oh so better.  Fresh catch from the sea, refreshing to the taste buds indeed.

Sopa de Tortilla, grilled chicken and Pasillla broth, with tomatoes and tortilla with sour cream and cheddar cheese.  I just love the soup, complementing every sip with bites of tortilla moist in the rich creamy broth, enticing and certainly a soup for the senses.

On the plate is Carnitas corn Taco, which is pulled BBQ pork with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheddar cheese in crisp corn taco served with salsa and guacamole.  Paired with Pollo Parilla Soft Taco, with grilled chicken, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheddar cheese also served with salsa crudo and guacamole.

May it be hard tacos or soft tacos, every bite into the soft meat and salsa makes me wanting more, with bite after bite of goodness, maybe one of the best tacos I have ever had in my lifetime.

The Mexican Flank Steak with Arroz Chorizo and Salsa Crudo,  with home made chorizo rice and salsa crudo.  They also serve U.S. Rib-Eye steaks, Sirloin steaks and more.  The best grade beef cooked to your liking.

For dessert, you can try out their Dulce de Tres Leches, a traditional Mexican sponge cake dessert.  This is Fuego's take on our leche flan, but the taste is oh so heavenly.  Sweet and uber yummy, will satisfy anyone's sweet cravings.

And after dinner, spend the night away with friends, enjoy Mexican cocktails such as El Fuego, Pomegrante, Michelada, La Ultima and more.  Or let your bartender surprise you.

Fuego is more than you have ever imagined it to be, enjoy the lights and sounds, the cocktails and culinary specialties of the house, and you'll find yourself bringing more of your friends to enjoy Fuego.
