Hua Yuan 華苑 presents Four Hands Culinary Series: Flavors of China at Hilton Manila

Hua Yuan 華苑, Hilton Manila's very own Chinese Restaurant brings the best flavors of China, as they welcome Chef Lam Hock Hin from Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  A famed and award-winning Master Chef, he brings with him, a wealth of culinary experiences from over 15 years, and refined over time from Seramban, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur, and now to Manila.

And in celebration of Hilton's 100th year, Hilton Manila celebrates this with a collaborative menu aptly named Four Hands Culinary Series: Flavors of China in Hua Yuan 華苑,


Featuring a special indulgent 8-course menu that combines the best of Shanghainese and Cantonese specialties and mixing in their own signature dishes, this feast is definitely one for the books, and a first for Hua Yuan 華苑 in Manila.

Chef Lam highlights his well-loved dishes Hilton Kuala Lumpur, with Mix Salad with Kaori Bako, Golden Scallops and Anchovies, next we have the Double-boiled Black and White Garlic Soup with Sea Cucumber and Spare Ribs.

And now to our main course, Butter Milk Prawn with Egg Flakes and Scented Curry Leaves and Smoky Grilled Slice Pork with Leeks.

To complement Chef Lam's dishes, Chef Kevin Xu, features Hua Yuan's 華苑 Shanghainese favorites with Hua Yuan's  Fragrant Tea-Smoked Duck and Deep Fried Grouper Sweet and Sour Style with Pine Nuts complemented with Fried Rice with X.O. Sauce.

And for dessert, a sweet ending with Coconut Cream Jelly with Taro Balls and Peach Gum.

This 8-course Exquisite Collaborative Dinner Menu is set at P2,888 nett per person (minimum of 6 diners) and is available today until June 8, 2019.


More about the chefs, Chef Lam Hock Hin is the Executive Chinese Chef of Hilton Kuala Lumpur's Chinese restaurant, Chynna.  And has 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, while Chef Kevin Xu is Hua Yuan's Sous Chef, mastering Sichuan, Cantonese and South East Asian cuisines.  He has been with Hua Yuan, as part of the opening team of Hilton Manila.
