City of Dreams Manila highlights exclusive offerings for Mother's Day


City of Dreams Manila pays tribute to moms with specially curated offerings fit for a remarkable Mother’s Day celebration. These heartwarming offers include: a bespoke menu at award-winning restaurants Crystal Dragon, Nobu Manila, Red Ginger; a hearty buffet brunch at Hyatt Regency’s The Café; finely crafted chocolates at Chocol8 and confectioneries at Café Society; special treats at DreamPlay; and a relaxing Nobu staycation and Nobu Spa treatments.

Crystal Dragon

On their special day on May 12, moms who will dine at Crystal Dragon will receive a complimentary dessert of Mango Pomelo with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Moms will also be delighted that the award-winning Crystal Dragon restaurant which specializes in Cantonese and regional specialties, offers a Mother’s Day a la carte menu available for lunch and dinner from May 1 to 14.   

The menu consists of: Double-boiled Nutritious Quail Soup with American Ginseng; Pan-seared Stuffed Tiger Prawn with Chef’s Special Sauce; Wok-fried Chinese Scrambled Egg with Dry Scallop and Crab Meat; Foie Gras Baguette with Roasted Suckling Pig; Crispy Roasted Chicken with Golden Sesame Seed and Preserved Bean Curd Sauce; Breaded Crispy Scallop served with Mango Salsa; Braised Thread Noodle with USA Fresh Oyster and Assorted Seafood; and Double-boiled Red Bean Puree with Dried Orange Skin and Sesame Dumpling.


Nobu Manila 

Likewise, Nobu Manila is honoring mothers on May 12 with indulgent complimentary chocolate petit fours when they partake of the lavish Nobu Mother’s Day Brunch buffet spread characterized by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s renowned Japanese Peruvian fusion artistry. 

Offered at Php 2,950 net, the buffet is inclusive of sodas, juices, mocktails, and iced tea; and an option for standard alcohol package for additional Php P1,096 net and additional Php 2,203 net for the premium champagne drink package. Children under five years old are free of charge; while those ages six to 12 years old can dine for half the price.


For a gastronomic dinner fete, Nobu Manila is also offering a carefully curated eight-course Omakase Menu that is available for the whole month of May for Php 5, 600++. The menu is composed of: Yellowtail Dry Miso with Caviar; a Chef’s Choice of Sushi; Oyster ‘New Style’; Salmon Shiso Roll with Jalapeno Dressing; Pan-seared Honey Sesame Salmon and Iwaniwa Noodles with Spicy Lemon Garlic; Roasted Tenderloin Marinated in Mixed Spices with Mushroom and Beans in Black Bean Sauce; Shojin Yuzu Miso Soup; and Yogurt Mousse with Raspberry Surprise, which is a medley of yogurt mousse with raspberry bomb, raspberry coral sponge, and strawberry foam.

For vegetarian moms, Nobu Manila is also showcasing its new eight-course Special Vegan Omakase for Php 3, 500++. The healthy menu consists of: Daikon Taco; Shitake Jalapeno with Yuzu Soy; Tomato Ceviche and Avocado Tartare with Karashi Su Miso; a Chef’s Choice of Vegetable Sushi; Nobu-style Edamame Falafel with Quinoa Salad; Veggie Burger with Baked Potato Karoke and Tonkatsu Sauce; Stir-fried Konbu and Bokchoy in Light Soy; Vegetable Medley with Den Miso; and Vegan Orange Cake, which combines orange cream jelly and pineapple sorbet.

A glass of Nobu Manila’s refreshing cocktail of the month, Cinco de Mango -- a concoction of tequila, mango juice, Grand Marnier, calamansi juice, and agave syrup -- assures a heightened dining experience. 

The Café at Hyatt Regency 

Mothers and their families are in for a luxurious Sunday Brunch Buffet feast on May 12 at The Café at Hyatt’s interactive show-kitchen restaurant featuring vibrant live cooking stations and a wide array of freshly prepared sumptuous fare. For Php 2,999 net per person, the promotion is inclusive of a souvenir photo and a special gift for mom.

Red Ginger

For an indulgently sweet Mother’s Day weekend affair, Red Ginger is offering the Ube Entremet Cake (Php 1,800 net). Available from May 10 to 12 only, this specialty cake is a medley of lusciously sweet, creamy and velvety sponge cake filled with a hint of cream cheese and mascarpone, and finished with an ube-flavored glaze.


Chocol8 and Cafe Society

A fitting sweet gift on Mother’s Day, Chocol8 at The Garage is highlighting a stylish selection of hampers that come with handcrafted grand cru chocolate variants and snuggly teddy bears. Starting at Php 1, 000, these hampers are available from May 1 to 12, and includes indulgent variants such as Ivory Premium Chocolate Bar, White Chocolate Berry Bar, White Chocolate Cheese Bar, Orange Almond Bar, and Croustillant Bar, among many others.

Similarly, Café Society curated an array of sweet treats for those looking for a special gift to their mothers. Sophisticated floral bouquets and arrangements that come in a pot or a basket are available from May 9 to 12, along with scrumptious pastries such as Chocolate Cashew Croissant, Peach Cookies, and Carrot Cake Cookies, among others. Packages for pre-orders with prices starting at Php 2,800 -- which combines the flower arrangements with confectioneries -- are additional thoughtful options.

DreamPlay

Families are in for an adventure with the various educating and thrilling attractions at DreamPlay, the only DreamWorks-inspired play space in the world. As a special treat for mothers on May 12, DreamPlay is exclusively offering a complimentary ticket to moms who are accompanied by at least two DreamPlay ticketholders; or a 50% discount when accompanied by one ticketholder. 

In addition, moms can have their souvenir photos taken with one of DreamWorks’ best mom characters – Princess Fiona of Shrek; while kids can bake heart-shaped gingerbread cookies during Gingy’s Cooking Class as a special gift for their mothers. 

Nobu Hotel Manila

Nobu Hotel Manila provides a relaxing respite for mothers with its “Mom’s Dream Celebration” package starting at Php 14,088 net, which is inclusive of a complimentary breakfast at Nobu Manila Restaurant; and Php 5,000 worth of dining credits at any of City of Dreams Manila’s operated restaurants such as Nobu Manila, Crystal Dragon, The Tasting Room, Red Ginger, Jing Ting, and Café Society, and more.

Other inclusions are: a special turndown amenity box composed of aroma therapy candle and diffuser; 25% discount on food and beverage at any of City of Dreams Manila’s operated restaurants; 20% discount on Dreamplay tickets and K-Golf fees; 10% discount on VR Zone fees at The Garage and Dreamshop items at DreamPlay; complimentary local calls; and complimentary shuttle service to and from SM Mall of Asia.

The room package rates are applicable for two adults and two children under 12 years old; while the buffet breakfast at Nobu Manila Restaurant are provided for two adults, and two  children under five years  old. Booking period is ongoing until May 30 and stay period is until May 31.

Meanwhile, mothers taking care of babies need not to worry as Nobu Hotel Manila can ‘baby-proof’ their rooms. As a kid-friendly hotel, Nobu, upon request, can provide amenities that especially cater to the needs of their babies such as cribs, tubs, and bottle steamer for a stress-free family staycation experience.

Nuwa Spa and Nobu Spa

With Four Star Awards from world-renowned Forbes Travel Guide, both Nuwa and Nobu Spas guarantee a tranquil and personalized experience for mothers celebrating their special occasion with its “Mom’s Luxe Day” and “Mom’s Pampering Day” promotions, respectively.

Nuwa’s promotion gives mothers an option to avail the following: “One MoM-ent in Time” (Php 5,999 net), which includes a two-hour treatment of a Bespoke Body Polish, a Gold Hydration Intensive Facial, and a head, neck and shoulder massage; “Mother’s Day Out” (Php 6,999 net), which consists of a Heal-ot Massage with Dagdagay Foot Massage, and  Nuwa Radiance Facial for two hours and 30 minutes; and the “Mum Me Time” (Php 7,999 net), which provides a Shirodhara Treatment, Abhyanga Massage, and OM Facial Express for two hours and 30 minutes.
